My country garden inspiration

Each day if I haven't been outside with my camera I feel like something is missing, and today, my garden came up with the goods! Teasels, dahlias, a huge thistle, a lime green hydrangea all made it in front of the camera. When a texture or pattern captures my attention, I often find that in order to find the best angle and composition, I have taken maybe 20 images to find the right one. Combining light, what's in the foreground, whether I can get my subject to stand out. Is there a better shot? And before I know it I've taken image after image until I feel that I have found the right one.
Not everything makes it on to a scarf, but I am always thinking whether it has potential. Here are a few taken this afternoon. Which might make the cut?
