How to wear a square silk scarf

Three easy ways to elevate your personal style with a large square silk scarf.

Kerchief style, pussycat bow, or simply long, a square silk scarf tied differently can enhance your look in minutes.

Consider a dress or a jacket you have had for ages in your wardrobe. You love it but you want to change it from looking ordinary to extraordinary. A perfect way to do this is to look at your scarf accessories and have a go!

Kerchief style - a favourite of mine. Fold your scarf into a triangle and pull the two ends behind your neck so that you end up with a triangle of fabric in front. I find this a great option when I want to hide perhaps a top that doesn't have quite the right neckline I want. (Or I might simply want that extra splash of colour near my face).

Pussycat bow - again a brilliant option to add sophisticated style. Consider tying your scarf in a pussycat bow for a special occasion, a work teams or zoom call, or perhaps an interview. I read recently that going for something slightly different for an interview might make you more memorable. Could a pussycat bow make you stand out?

Long - or looped - a casual, simple approach. Ideal when maybe your outfit needs a tiny lift but you don't have time to tie! This could also be a good option if you want to add a line of colour when you wear a jacket or coat open.

So, there you have it. Three easy ways to dress up for any occasion!
